Alarm

This phone is PERFECT but: Why is there no alarm? Alarms are very important! Some people rely on their phone alarms for waking up really early! and its very simple to be put in a phone! not even a tiny calculator in that big mobile? calculators are useful for homework or for trying to convert currencies, or for just wanting to know what 12 x 9 is, or how much a bunch of things cost! how did they miss these simple things while making the sidekick? unbelievable i think i should reconsider buying this phone. theres also no video camera which is weird, because theres a camera for pictures so why not add videos. MR.T-MOBILE SIDEKICK I THINK YOU SHOULD ADD CALCULATORS AND VIDEO CAMERAS AND ESPECIALLY ALARMS IN YOUR NEXT SIDEKICK PHONE! BIG SUGGESTION!! 57  out of 66 found this valuable. Do you?

If you go to downloads, then applications, then personal productivity there is an app called Time Traveler second to the last in the list....its $4.99 though...so if you're cheap like me I would just use the calender to set an alarm 8  out of 11 found this valuable. Do you?

Go to Organizer...click on calender...then push the list button which is the top left hand button...click on new event...fill in the information...set the time 15 minutes late...because for some reason it will only go off if you set the reminder...really you can set it even just a minute late and then have the reminder go off a minute before...but it defaults to 15 minutes

Well there is an alarm, it's just in a stupid place.
Jump > Menu > Settings > Sound Profiles
Scroll all the way to the bottom and you can set alarms daily, weekly, monthly, whatever your little heart desires. Also, the calculator is a free application located in the Personal Productivity folder.
...and I apologize that NO ONE else who answered you bothered to tell you those things.

Actually, I thought that could be the alarm too as I was so desperately searching for one. But, it turns out that the Sound Profiles, is not an alarm, it only allows you to set your ring style, as in Maximum, Loud, Normal, Soft, Buzz etc.... This is just in case your at work or whatever the case may be and you don't want your phone ringing loud, you could set it to buzz, and you can also set it to return to a Loud or Silent setting at whatever time you choose. So, it would automatically go from a low ring while your at work to a super loud one (if that's the setting you chose of course) once your off the clock. So in closing, that is the purpose of the Sound Profiles. 2  out of 2 found this valuable. Do you?
