sidekick 3 on a cingular network

I am trying to make a sidekick 3 work on a cingular network. I have voice and text messaging working but not web browsing. I was told that I need to change the access point name, username and password and proxy and actually have the appropriate info for each of those settings but cant figure out how to get to those settings inside the sidekick 3. Any help would be much appreciated. 6  out of 8 found this valuable. Do you?

the web will not work on another network. it will only work on t-mobile because t-mobile is the only carrier that has the sidekick server which the web works on. even if you change the the apn it still will not work because cingular does not have the sidekick server for that. sorry i looked into that as well. 1  out of 1 found this valuable.
