Reprogram Sidekick 2008

I have a new sidekick 2008 that I bought from Amazon last week. Since T-Mobile has no sidekick support and it is possible to have data stored to the danger server, can the phone be reprogramed so data from the address book and scheduler can be saved to the sd card.? 4  out of 6 found this valuable. Do you?
