Sidekick Problems!! >:o

So my brother let me have a Sidekick Slide he found at his job (Unlocked Phone). And i have a T-Mobile 2-Year contract. So i plug in my Sim-Card and it says "Network data services are currently unavailable Either your GPRS APN setting is incorrect or your account is not configured for GPRS." I have no idea what that means so i hope someone does. And also when ever my Sidekick runs out of battery and it shuts off. ALL of the contacts get erased! That is getting me PISSED! i HAD around 150contacts and BOOM! All erased! So PLEASE HELP! PLEASE! 4  out of 5 found this valuable. Do you?

The Sidekick data service was permanently discontinued. That's what it means. Because the data service is unavailable, the Sidekick cannot upload a copy of the contacts to T-Mobile (which also required paying for the Sidekick data package), so it loses them when it powers off. Keep your contacts on your SIM card and they won't be erased every time it powers off.

I would suggest getting a different phone if you don't like this. 3  out of 6 found this valuable. Do you?
