Which is newer, Sidekick Sidekick or the LX?

When I purchased my third Sidekick model last year, we were told that the Sidekick Sidekick was the latest and greatest...not the LX...by the T-Mobile Sales Rep...but I am reading on here, all along it was the LX? The LX was out when we made our purchase and T-Mobile said it wasnt the newest...can someone clarify which is the newest version?

the newest one is Sidekick LX2009
with 3G network.

and idk where did they has come up
with name a sidekick such as sidekick sidekick.
