hey ppl i got a sidekick 08 n everytime i get a txt msg doesnt ring rite away til 2 min later i need help with that plz anyone thanx Do you find this valuable?

I have the same problem and need to figure out how to set songs off my pc as ringtones. I also wanted to know if it was possible in my inbox for it to show the contacts name not the number the text came from. it bugs me. Do you find this valuable?

i have this problem all the time. i just figured out how to fix it, and im not sure if this may work for you, but its worth a try. actually, this may be the easiest thing to do. just pull the back cover off, with the phone on. pull the battery out. wait few seconds. put the battery back in. the phone should power itself back on. that worked for me.

as for the inbox thing, that happens to me all the time, and yes its super annoying. try the battery thing, that works for me.
and p.s idk if pulling the battery out is bad for the sk. i heard it was. but im not too sure. Do you find this valuable?

my name is chyna and a friend gave me her sidekick 08 because she is gettin a new one and i do not have the G7 and i call the t mobile place and they said that i have to make a whole new account on my phone witch i dont know the usernames or the password to sign in so i can get serviseso what do i do Do you find this valuable?

Hi, if you're having problems with text messages not sounding an alert, that'll happen if you don't have the Sidekick data plan. Pulling the battery out will also WIPE OUT any saved data on your Sidekick, and if you don't have the data plan, there is no backup.

Also, regarding setting ringtones, you can only set up your own ringtones if you have a Sidekick LX 2009. Otherwise, you can't manually add ringtones, period.

Also, Chyna, I have no idea what's going on with your account, but you will need to add the Sidekick data plan and wipe the existing info off the phone in order to register your own account. This is something that T-Mobile Customer Care can help you with, so call 1-800-937-8997 on a different phone for help. Do you find this valuable?
