Ok, so my screen on my sidekick is broken....how can i connect my sidekick to my PC and get all my contacts and numbers from it?

No need to sync with your PC, unless you don't have the Sidekick data service. If you do have the data service, log into My T-Mobile and then access the desktop interface. Note: Due to problems with the service right now (October 2009), it might not work for the time being, but when everything's working you can log straight into your phone book directly from the desktop interface.

is there an easy way to export all your contacts from the Desktop interface? I am changing to an android phone and I cannot find a way to export them to Google contacts, short of copy/paste each of my hundreds of contacts individually.

There might be an export option. There was the import option for the phonebook recovery this last week.

you would think there would be, but there is not. The worst part about it is that this is not an oversight on danger/t-mobiles part, it is done on purpose to lock people into the sidekick platform.
