Network APN does not exist

So I bought my sidekick slide form an independant sales agent a week ago. I set up the data plan at a t-mobile store 5 days ago. It still has not connected to the data plan. I have spoken w/ sidekick support and they have reset the phone 3 times and everything on their side is ok. ..... still no data aplan services. So I called again and an agent asked me to find the Network APN settings. So I go to :Settings - Network Options ..... and from their there should be an option for Network APN, There os none. all I have is gsm and gprs/edge, roaming, network selections, network bands. Is there something wrong withi this phone? Like is a boot leg or something or am I not looking in the right place for the network apn settings? I even brought in back to the store and they guy just called tmobile and reset it... excactly what I have done 3 times, when i asked him to find the apn settings he could not. So now he is telling me to wait 2 days until it goes through, I know for a fact it's not going to. Where can I find the Network APN? **Update** - I just found out this is an unlocked phone. I dont know if this has anything to do w/ it but just FYI. Do you find this valuable?

i guess that could be it.-because, i just checked and i have network apn thing on mines. (mines not unlocked) so, i guess yeah, its an unlocked phone then... Do you find this valuable? |
