Hi. I had recently purchased a sidekick ID off the internet. It is completely new and had never been opened or anything. I put my sim card in and the battery, all that jazz. When I turned it on it gave the "a welcome screen will appear in 48 hours within purchase" I've read a few places where I have to purchase a sidekick plan before I can use the phone. We already have 700 minutes and unlimited texting on our original plan. I don't want any fancy things like the internet and such, I just want to be able to text and make calls. Do I have to purchase the actual sidekick plan or can I use my old one still? If that is the case how do I get this screen off? I've tried pushing the button it says and the L button but that does not get rid of it. Thanks. Do you find this valuable?
