Can i do this and how?

ok so i want to buy the sidekick (gekko) i currently have a sidekick slide which i hate. I want to buy the gekko with out renewing my contract which means i have to pay full price for the phone then right? and if i want internet and unlimited texting like how i have on my phone now as well as the same family plan stuff i currently have i just pay for those like i do now right? also can i jut switch to the gekko from my current phone or do i have to cancel my phone that i urrently have. Do you find this valuable? |

Yes, you can swap the SIM out of the Slide and into the 08. Note that your catalog downloads may not transfer. But your monthly plan fees and so on will remain the same. You don't even have to call T-Mobile to tell them you're changing phones.

so if i buy a phone off ebay with no contract and i put in my sim from my current sidekick ill have my internet also? sorry to ask so much i just want to be sure.
