How to change IP address on the SIDEKICK 3

Im using vodafone in india. im not able to connect to the data services. it remains in the "two dots" icon which signifies "finding IP address". does anyone know about this? Is there anyway i can change the ip add or port number to make the gprs work?

Unless you manage to rewrite the OS software, no.http://wiki.sidekick.com/page/International+Sidekick+Usage The reason is that it's attempting to register with the Danger server, and unless Vodafone suddenly rolls out Sidekicks, that'll NEVER happen. Or unless you get a T-Mobile account with the country the SK3 came from. Do you find this valuable? |

HelloI recently got SIDEKICK 3 from USA but unfortunetly it doesn't work with 900 mhz frequency. As you have posted question I want to know you are having SIM of Vodaphone ? Have you made any settings so that your SIDEKICK 3 is working on Vodaphone SIM card. I have VODAPHONE SIM but SIDEKICK is not working on VODAPHONE SIM ? Do you find this valuable? |
