can you keep your tmail account if you dont have a sidekick?

was wondering if you can still use your tmail account if you no longer have a sidekick Do you find this valuable?

yea as long as you have an active tmobile sim card you have a tmail account. i use it to send myself ringtones but unfortunately on the sidekick i cant do that Do you find this valuable?
