Is There Any Way That I Can Download Content From My Sidekick 08 Web?

i try to download stuff using the web browser on my sidekick 2008 and it says "file content not supported". i asked this question before and someone said that it cant be done because it has a Danger like OS. And i want an expert opinion about it.

What're you trying to download? 'Stuff' is very vague. For all I know you're trying to download Linux DVD copies. Please be more specific.

videos, songs, etc. the websites i go to is made for mobile phones. they worked with my other phones but not a sidekick. when i said stuff, i meant anything that you can download from the web. my razr did it and so did my htc wizard. you know when you try to get a ringtone from that website and they send it to your phone?? but you cant?? because it says "file content not supported"?? little things like that is what im talking about.

That has to do a bit more with this than anything: http://wiki.sidekick.com/page/RingtonesAlso, your RAZR was running a different operating system. The Danger OS has specific containers for different types of media, and a good number aren't supported because they're not designed for Sidekicks. Like, wallpaper -- Sidekicks don't use the same formats as traditional cell phones because it's got a totally different interface. Do you find this valuable? |
