sidekick lx doesn't alert me on a new message.

Hey, I got a sidekick lx from my friend, and no matter what i do, I can't get the sidekick to vibrate or flash whenever i get a new message.When I go to the "New Message Alert"(I set it to pulsation, and I tried other ones), it works when i preview it, but not when I actually get the message. Do you find this valuable? |

This is a known issue, and right now, yep. It's going to be fixed in a future update, but, yep, without the plan, it won't alert on incoming text messages. I'll post a workaround tonight.

I'll post a workaround tonight."That's kinda messed up... Why would a data plan be required to alert you when you get texts? I set it to alert 2 minutes If i still have a text, and it works. Thanks anyways, though. Do you find this valuable? |

It's a KNOWN ISSUE. It's supposed to. It's a technical problem.

thats pretty lame, it should be an easy fix for tmobile to add to the update
