If anything it will be called the sidekick 2010 based on it's predecessors release. As of now there is no confirmed sidekick "2009" so you're just gonna have to sit there and wait it out. Not two days ago I wrote a brief albeit hopeful article that rumors of a 3G sidekick were heating up. Codenamed “blade,” info on this device is obviously scarce, but we know it exists. " It's simply called the Sidekick instead of the 3/LX/Slide/etc, but the model is also named by its year of release to avoid confusion with any future Sidekick devices, like, say, making it up off the top of my head, a Sidekick (2011).
