download catalog, please help asap

hello, I ordered in the internet a used sidekick 3 (diane von furstenberg) a few months ago and
the cellphone is great I love it soo so much. But the main problem is that I can't see my
download catalog!. When I click on the bubble that says download catalog, and then highlight the catalog, it says on the right: The catalog will be available once data service has been restored. I don't know what does that means, can somebody please tell me what to do in this situation?

Ps. I don't live in the us, im from a small country next to center america. (Dominican Republic) and at first the cellphone was locked but I unlocked it. Just thought you may wanna know that. =) 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

luhvly: I don't know, never heard of it :P , what is that plan? and how can I get it?

justarep: Yeah Ive already read it and my phone works perfectly, I dont know why it said that it wouldnt. The only thing I have problems with is the catalog thing, but thanks anyway.

If you've read that article, you will understand the exact problem. The Sidekick data plan is only offered through T-Mobile. The download catalog is tied to data services. Without a T-Mobile USA account and the appropriate data plan, you won't be able to use it. Do you find this valuable?

Oh ok thanks now I got it xd.
Well I guess I'll try living without ringtones :S

In the article said that nothing would work outside the u.s exept for the calls and texting.
But other than the catalog thing the phone works perfectly: e-mail, internet, msn, games, text etc.
 Do you find this valuable?

No. I asked if you had an address at tmail.com. t. m. a. i. l.

Because tmail.com is the internal Sidekick e-mail domain for Sidekick accounts. It's also automatically assigned to every Sidekick user on T-Mobile (USA), with their username. So, if someone's Sidekick username was bob, they would have bob@tmail.com. Do you find this valuable?

Hey i Just a sidekick 3 and i want internet etc.. with which company..claro,orange,viva,tricom..do u have it with..im in dr too! Do you find this valuable?

lo puedes desbloquear con cualquiera ;) .. el mio es claro. todo esta en el asunto del plan que elijas, puedes pagar para usar el internet con wifi o un plan mensual de mil pesos o algo asi para usarlo donde quieras. Do you find this valuable?
