Slide wont come on.

I just got my slide from a friend everything been workin fine.Then the battery got real low and almost died i plugged it up into the computer to charge after about an hour of charge i unplug it and thats when it cut off and now it wont come back on.Can some one please tell me something?Help me? Do you find this valuable?
