contacts when texting

hey i just got this sidekick.when i'm in the texting screen, and it shows my messages in the inbox, it doesn't show the sender's name, like all my other phones. it just shows the phone number. i have alot of similar phone numbers, and i text alot of different people at once. does anyone know if there's a way to change the view so that i'll see my contact's name rather than just their phone number? 0 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

Here is the answer everyone. You can all thank me later :) <P> In your phonebook enter the persons # and info then save it BEFORE you send or receive any text messages from this person. Then when you text you'll see their name :) If you have any #s not showing up delete ALL of their texts and their phone # in your phonebook. After you've done both re-enter and save your contacts phone # then restart your phone. Next time you text you'll see their name! 1 out of 4 found this valuable. Do you? |
