Sidekick ID, trackball

my trackball is unresponsive. it clicks, but seems like it doesn't make connection. It lights up, it rolls but will not select anything when pressed.... and it doesn't matter how hard I press either. without this function of the trackball working, i cannot access anything or do anything. Can the track ball be reset? I've powered off the unit based on the lame-o advice from the tmobile site. but that didn't do anything for the problem.
if the trackball can be reset... can it be replaced? or is there a group of hotkeys or key strokes that will allow me to manuver around in my sidekick?.....grrrrr

You can not do anything else but buy a new trackball. Once something messes up on a sidekick there is almost no wa to fix it. There are a few stores that sell trackballs. 0  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

You should buy a can of compressed air and blow out the crevice underneath. Often a little debris gets caught, no big deal :)
