Keyguard keeps locking by its self everytime i turn on my side kick lx

Everytime i turn my sidekick lx on my keyguard locks automatically by it self. I been having this problem for a lil min now. when the keyguard comes on by itself it locks my track ball, and doesnt alow me to go back to the jump screen. when i press the jump screen button it pulls up a mini media player on the main screen, and when i press the menu button it brings up this little screen with the sound profiles option and brightness option these two screens look totally different from the normal menu screen. everytime i try to unlock the keyguard it just automatically locks the keyguard again and when i unlock the keyguard thats when it locks the menu button and jump screen button and trackball. my sidekick never had any water damage but had been dropped a few times not wrecklessly. If anyone can help with this problem please post here or send me an email to jyarde118@yahoo.com. I have no insurance and i dont have money at the moment to buy a brand new one. First, soft reset the phone and see if that helps. You may lose some stuff like texts and contacts, especially if you don't have the sidekick plan. 1 + @ + 0. Wait for it to restart. Give it a minute to settle in. Then press Jump > Menu > Settings > Key Guard & Security. Here you can change the amount of time the phone waits to lock the keyguard. dat doesnt help. i got the ota update and the longest i can set my keyguard is 15 mins thats not the issue tho. as soon as i go to the web browser,email,text, or aim , for example when i text i could be in the middle of typing a text and it will automatically send da message to draft n lock up the phone. when i try to unlock the keyguard using menu and the done button, it limits me to using my sidekick to its full potential. it just flat locks my track ball, menu button, and when i press the jump screen button with the circles it brings up this mini media player instead of jumping to the main screen and the only way i can get to the main is by pressing the x /back button to get to the main screen. Can somebody help me please because i love my side kick to death and really dependent on it 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

My phone does the EXACT same thing! I can only use the D pad and I tried everyhthin! every like 15 seconds it just locks up and I have to unlock it! oh and it always saves my texts to drafts while im typing them, its so irritating! if you find out how to fix it, PLEASE let me know Do you find this valuable?
