Alarm Sound

So, I haven't found anything on how to possibly change the tone for the alarm clock. I don't know if anyone else has used the alarm on the Sidekick Gecko, but its ridiculously annoying. Does anyone know how to change the tone for it?

you should be able to change it from the menu go to settings and go to spound profile if you have downloads of ring tones you can use the its called imported

i don't know if that works on the SK gecko but it definately doesn't work on the SK 2008. i switched it to an imported ringtone and still the same annoying alarm that sounds like the timer on the oven going off. please any other ideas?

"Gekko" was the codename for it before it was released. As for the alarm tone, I do not believe it can be changed. Sorry guys :( Do you find this valuable? |

you can download a different alarm out of the catalogue for $3 i think...and it comes with a stopwatch and timer too. you can also change the alarm tone.

if you have the Time Traveler application you can have like 3 different songs/sounds as your alarms, buts its 4.99 ....... the alarm that came with the LX update and the alarm that comes with the gekko/2008 is just that annoying shrill one ... i guess you get what you pay for lol .......... as a side note, i used to wake up to the T-Jingle ringtone (song-type version) .... they left it off the LX :( now its a weird tmobile-ish tone .... i was so sad when i got my LX and found it missing :( oh well.

you cant change it but you can buy the app time saver and it has an alarm clock that you can use ringgers and music as your alarm
