you can force your sidekick to recieve the update

Step 1. Log of everything you have open (im, myspace, everything)Step 2. Restart your device Step 3. Do not sign into any apps or send any data Step 3. Watch your G7 for 3 minutes if the white swoosh isnt pulsating fast through the 7 then u need to restart (you can even go to network settings press menu + m if ur bytes recieved start counting fast ur good) Step 4. Press Menu, Settings, Network Status, then Menu+m to watch you bytes received, if its going up your good. you will recieve your update when it hits 12.2m Step 5. Restart your sidekick as many times until your g7 continues to pulsate with white streak FAST & NONSTOP…10 minutes later it should still be moving even when ur not logged into messenger or texting or emailing….once u realize its doing the trick…lay ur sidekick down and in about 30 minutes ur OTA will be here… Step 6. This really works, I did it about 4am and it took awhile but i got it around 4:45am after about 20 resets. if you need help get me on aim cormega47

id like to co-sign. i just reseted my phone 3 times and watched the bytes go up to 12.2 m. 5 secs after it asked me to update my phone. my gf got her up 2 weeks ago. so whoever aint got there update.. listen to thegame999.. he know what he talkin bout!! good lookin playa

this definetly worked... I got my update after a lot of restarts and watching the bytes climb but it worked...everyone is fiending for this update, & it is HOTT. Only thing t-mobile coulda added was a zoom on the camera... Your The Bomb Game 1 out of 2 found this valuable. Do you? |

C i bace in ireland yeah but i hav my sidekick lx but i can't get the special code and d OTA....if u hav any ideas can u pls help me out pls............

I did this and it worked. I only had to turn my phone off about 5-8 times. It went up to 11.8M not even 12 and then the update came.

yeah so i feel kinda stupid for asking this... but... how do i know if my phone already has this update or not? the reason i ask this is cuz i bought the phone from someone else... and my phone does have video and stuff i just dont know what the phone is like before this update soo... not sure if i have it or not..so if u can clarify..\ thanksss.. crissy 0 out of 1 found this valuable. yeah this may work indeed, but afterwhile you will force problems on your mobile device. it's best that you wait for the update to take place and there is no limited time before that happens so just wait and you'll be glad you did...God Bless, peace!
