trackball sleep stays blue

the trackball is supposed to be green in a normal sleep but mine keeps blinking blue like theres a pending message so i opened it and clicked the cancel and home button (the top right and bottom left buttons) and it says that i have read all my messaages. why doesnt the track ball blink green in its sleep mode
theres also this weird icon near the reception bars that looks like a robot head. its a black rectangle with 2 squares like eyes and another one like a mouth 1  out of 2 found this valuable. Do you?

Omg.
That icon is a VOICEMAIL and also the reason your light is blinking blue.
For real, man? 3  out of 3 found this valuable. Do you?

i have the same problem but when i check my voicemail it says that i have no new voicemail so wht do i do? 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

i have the SK2009 and my trackball doesnt flash at all! it annoys me actually ... is there something extra i need to do to get it to flash? Do you find this valuable?
