OTA LX Update Real?

I'm starting to think this OTA Update isn't real. Here it is July 31st, 2008 and I have yet to recieve this. I know they are "supposedly" sent out randomly but this is just ridiculous. They also said that by the end of this month everybody will get the update. If you have a Sidekick LX (NOT Slide, 2008, or Tony Hawk) please post a pic on this thread and let us turning doubters have a bit of hope. If it's real that is....

I realized that I posted this thread because Im tired of waiting...It doesn't matter if other people have it or not I guess but it would just be good to see that somebody got it.

Okay people im just as impatient as you about this ota update but i been calling Tmobile for the last couple weeks to be kept informed about the update. What I was told is that 2000 sidekick lx users will recieve the update per day, this has been going on since june 25, they are going out by order of serial numbers of sidekick lx phones that are active. I was also told that to help your phone clear itself and also might help you recieve your update a little faster cut of your phone once a day. well if you have more questions feel free to hit me up at thegame999@tmail.com or aim miamiboi995

I think the update will go to prepaid Sidekick LX phones. I think the update will go to any LX phone that has the data services at least.

ok for all you "doubters" out there that this "LX OTA UPDATE" is real i can definately say that it is, trust me. If you own a SK LX, and pay monthly fo rthe sk data plan (even prepaid) then you are scheduled to receive the update. now the main question that i know your thinking about: well when will i get it? the best answer i can give is over the next 4 weeks. Full roll-out started July 24th and the rest of the updates are scheduled to end by the end of august. just be patient and stop thinking about and the next thing you know is there it is, wanting you to update now or later (i suggust you do it now lol)

Step 1. Restart your deviceStep 2. Do not sign into any apps or send any data......press menu+ o for good luck lol Step 3. Watch your G7 for 3 minutes if the white swoosh isnt pulsating fast through the 7 then u need to restart (you can even go to network settings press menu + m if ur bytes recieved start counting fast ur good) Step 4. Restart your sidekick as many times until your g7 continues to pulsate with white streak FAST & NONSTOP...10 minutes later it should still be moving even when ur not logged into messenger or texting or emailing....once u realize its doing the trick...lay ur sidekick down and in about 30 minutes ur OTA will be here... This really works I swear on everything it has worked every OTA! And I dont think it was just a coincidence because its happened atleast 5 times. Good Luck.....! ::::NOTE::: not everyone will get it after 2 restarts..thats a power off and on maybe like 7 times lol but then when ur g7 goes crazy its because ur sidekick is receiving the OTA and when u get the install prompt its after the data has been received..understand!
