Not being notified when i receive a new text message

even tho i have a sound selected and everything, I dont hear or feel when i receive a new message, its really gay. Anyone know how to fix this?

Try here:
Jump > Menu > Settings > Sound profiles > Edit

If not, you may need to use the toggle on the bottom left shoulder of the phone. (plus and minus keys on the bumper) 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

I tried everything so i ended up completely resetting the phone and starting as if i just opened it and its working now thanks! wohoo! Do you find this valuable?

hey...i have da same prob now...i dont get notified...i tried the whole jump menu settings edit thang..but it wont help.... Do you find this valuable?

Keyguard keeps locking by its self everytime i turn on my side kick lx Sidekick LX Troubleshooting cracked D:
resetting to much for me.. Freezing or Power Off by-itself Can't punch in spaces or enter to the next line on emails and notes.
no messages or voicemails but the trackball is blinking blue! help!
