How to reset your sidekick LX login names

Directions....Step 1 start up your phone without the sim card in it Step 2 press menu and go to setting and then go to system info step 3 press menu shift key and X at the same time (then it will ask you are you sure you want to erase press yes) step 4 press menu shift key and R at the same time ( will do the same thing ask you if you want to reset step 5 restart your sidekick LX without the sim card in by pressing 1 0 and the @ ( sim card should not have been inside to begin with) hold the R button down the phone will restart let it restart 4 times then let it go and let it boot up completely Step 6 Insert sim card restart your phone enter user name and password and your all set 84 out of 197 found this valuable. wen i turned it back on it it rebooted then it still had dha old name on it after it was sayin activating or somethin like dhat

i accidently activated my sim card oline first instead of on the phone. What do i do ??
