SIDEKICK SLIDE BATTERY!

why does the sidekick slide battery run out so fast?my fone died on me the first day i got it! 0 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

did u charge it... cuz when i bought mine it only came with two bars. when mine is fully charged i wont have to recharge it until i go to sleep at night.. but if its a continous problem.. then return for a new one

if u didnt fully charge it for the like 6 hours or whatever it said, then the battery will never hold a full charge ( which is like 2 full days). but if ur talking about it just powering off randomly or when u slide it up and down every now and then, thats not because the battery lost its charge, its because the that whole thing about how the battery becomes detached from the phone for a second. this happened to all the slides back in november so they recalled them and tried to fix it. some phones still have it though(like mine). you can fix it by putting a buissness card or a piece of paper inbetween the battery and phone cover. this will help it happen less often.2 out of 2 found this valuable. When u get a new phone..sometimes u have to let it die,,then charge it all the way to kinda train the battery...

i like this idea. my sidekick slide batter isnt working any more.. well neither is my power button but that wasnt a big deal before.. usually if it would die on me i would plug in my charger and then soft reset it and it'd turn on.. now when i do it my fone turns on then off and then on then off and all over again. so im guessing its the detatched thing.. im going to buy a new battery.. can u explain about that paper thing
