Okay so over the weekend I finally got an "invisible shield" installed on my SideKick (this is available for almost any phone really, but especially good for devices with large breakable screens)
So now a few days later it has molded to my phone, all the air bubbles have vanished and it looks really good. I feel so much safer now knowing my screen is protected from scratching and damage. It takes them about 15 minutes to put it on. Costs around 20.00. But it's well worth the price to avoid a scratched or cracked screen. I've heard stories of face down falls on concrete without any consequence (I'm not going to intentionally test that theory though). The demo I saw was really cool too, a guy was running his keys and other things right over the screen and not so much as a nick! It was awesome. They come with a lifetime warranty and definitely are worth the extra protection they provide. I went for months with my SK2 screen being cracked while I waited for SK3 to come out. Just my 2 cents worth. But it's definitely a good investment for people who love their devices. You can find a kiosk for this at most Malls, or go to their site and order one.... http://www.shieldzone.com/ |

this is not so much a comment as a question....
Is there a way to flip the screen 90 degrees so it goes from a 'landscape' to a 'portrate' mode. I only ask this after seeing a SK3 on a cell phone holder in the long or portrate postition... Just wondering? Rob debar14@yahoo.com |
