DISCARD, RETRIEVE, AND EMPTY TRASH FOR SIDEKICK LX EVENTS

Discard an Event Your Sidekick LX

1. From an Upcoming, Day, or Week view, scroll to highlight the event you want to discard.
   
2. Either press , or press MENU then select Discard [ ]. If you've discarded a repeating event, you'll be prompted to:
   
   • Discard this date
   • Discard this & future dates
   • Discard all dates
     
     
   Select the appropriate action on your Sidekick LX.
   
3. The event is moved to the Trash view.

Retrieve an Event Your Sidekick LX

1. From your current view, press MENU then select View > Trash [ T]. The Trash view opens.
   
2. Scroll to highlight the event you want to retrieve on your Sidekick LX.
   
3. Press MENU then select Retrieve Event [ R]. The event returns to its original time slot.
   

Empty the Trash on Your Sidekick LX

1. From your current view on your Sidekick LX, press MENU then select View > Trash [ T]. The Trash view opens.
   
2. Press MENU then select Empty Trash. After confirming your intent to discard your events permanently, a message appears on the screen stating "The Trash is empty."
