About Song Information and Categories Each .MP3 song file contains information ("metadata") that is read by the music player. This information includes song title, release date, album art, artist, bit rate, size, and so on. Based on this information, the song is listed in the four categories displayed on the Browse Music screen. Although you cannot edit this song information, you can view it by pressing MENU Views of Your Songs-Sidekick LX - Sidekick and selecting View > Song Info [ Views of Your Songs-Sidekick LX - Sidekick I].

The music player will display a song in a category only if there is information in that song's .MP3 file for that category. Not all songs necessarily have all information. For example, if your song file does not have information about the song's composer, then that song (although present on your memory card) will not appear in the Composer view. If you can't find a song you know is on your memory card, look in the Library view [ Views of Your Songs-Sidekick LX - Sidekick 8], which lists all songs by title.
