NO CONTACTS, HELP!!!!

i saved everything in my phonebook, and when someone calls its there, also when i i receive messages only numbers shows up and then when i reply that's the only time i see who texted me.
how do you fix thaaaaaat.
i have a sidekick lx.

" That will happen because you don't have the data plan, and, since you're in the Philippines, you won't ever have the T-Mobile data plan. You're stuck with it doing that.

My SideKick LX does not notify me when I get a text message. The message icon shows in the top right corner, but not sound notification is given. How do I fix this?! the volume on my phone is up to Max. and there is still no notification.
HELP!!

I have the data plan for my sidekick, it worked fine till for weeks. Then it restarted itself Friday to update my MyFavs and ever since then, I don't get text alerts and the names aren't showing up. Is it possible they changed my plan back to a G1 plan without notifying me?? (my plan before) And if they did, wtf why?
EDIT: Also, my internet works, sooooo whats the deal?

i got a lx tony hawk ..my problem iz whenever i get a message ,my phone doesnt make no sound or ring or anything ..i already try to turn everything on , and check everything up but it still dun work ..alot of ppl try to fix but no1 can fix it ..so if any1 know how ..plz let me know ..thanks

my phone dosent light up, vibrate, or ring when i recieve a SMS message. no its not on silent. yes it rings when i get a phone call. but not texts.
please tell me why cause this is really iratating me

and for anyone who doesnt know and unlocked or cracked phone can be used for any service" Guess what: Sidekick data services can't be unlocked (unless you manage to get a devkit ROM and flash your Sidekick, I suppose--good luck, I've never heard of it being done), and for now, incoming SMS alerts need the data service to go off. Set a reminder for 2 minutes later.

when i get a text from a friend, and i wanna save there number from the text screen, the next time they text me its still just the number. not the name. when i enter a nuber into the dile screen, and save it from there, it shows the name. naturally i tried to erase the contact readd it through the dile screen and it still wont show my contacts name! help!

I bought a sidekick lx and found out about the data plan but i didnt know i had to have it for some things to
work properly....
Is there any way i can fix it atleast so my text messages vibrate until i get the data plan??
Also how much is the data plan? My parents already have a family plan etc
