The Text Messaging Splash Screen


To open the Text Messaging application, first press JUMP then roll the TRACKBALL until you highlight the Phone Messaging icon in the left-hand "ring" of applications. Press or roll the TRACKBALL right to open the second-level ring of applications, then highlight Text Messaging. The Text Messaging "splash" screen will appear on the right:
Text Messaging-Sidekick LX - Sidekick
The splash screen shows all your unread text messages in the order received, with the message received most recently on top. Press the TRACKBALL to open the Text Messaging application and view the Browse Messages screen.

Note: Text messages are delivered via the "Short Message Service", also referred to simply as "SMS".

When writing a text message, does the sidekick lx 2009 have these letters (å,æ,ø) if you for example hold in the 'a' button or push it a couple times?

I have the data plan for my sidekick, it worked fine till for weeks. Then it restarted itself Friday to update my MyFavs and ever since then, I don't get text alerts and the names aren't showing up. Is it possible they changed my plan back to a G1 plan without notifying me?? (my plan before) And if they did, wtf why?

EDIT: Also, my internet works, sooooo whats the deal?

How come my new Sidekick lx 2008 can't receive a new text message? I'm from the Philippines. My mom bought it in the States. Can you please answer my question. Thank You.
