T-MOBILE SIDEKICK SLIDE UPDATE
Motorola has determined that the intermittent power cycling on some T-Mobile Sidekick Slide devices was caused by a minor issue relating to the battery contacts. Motorola also has identified and tested a solution which it will implement for existing devices, and incorporate into newly manufactured ones. T-Mobile expects to begin offering the Sidekick Slide again beginning next week.

If a customer has a Sidekick Slide that is experiencing the intermittent power cycle issue, they may contact T-Mobile Customer Care or go to a T-Mobile retail store for assistance and to discuss available options.

T-MOBILE SIDEKICK SLIDE SALES SUSPENDED
T-Mobile suspended sales of the T-Mobile Sidekick Slide after Motorola - the manufacturer of the device - confirmed that some devices may inadvertently power off when the slide door on the front side of the phone is opened or closed. T-Mobile has taken this action to help ensure customers only receive devices they are confident will perform at their peak, so they can stay effortlessly connected to those who matter most. Motorola is currently working to identify the root cause of the power cycle issue in affected Sidekick Slide devices. The T-Mobile Sidekick LX™ and Sidekick iD™ are not affected by this issue. If a customer purchased a Sidekick Slide that is experienceing the unintended power cycle issue, they may contact T-Mobile Customer Care or go to a T-Mobile store for assistance and to discuss available options.

EMAILING ON THE SIDEKICK IS BETTER THAN EVER
T-Mobile Sidekick LX and customers will soon have access to AOL and Yahoo! push email on their Sidekick. A new Consumer Email upgrade rolling out now to LX customers provides an overall easier email experience with one-click access to your AOL and Yahoo! email accounts from the home screen and a new tabbed navigation layout (similar to the Sidekick MySpace experience).

The new email upgrade will be widely available to all LX customers by the end of November.

The T-Mobile Sidekick Video Contest finalists have been chosen! Head to www.myspace.com/sidekicknation to view the finalist videos, and make sure your favorite video wins by voting beginning today, November 21. The Grand Prize Winner will receive $10,000, a trip to Los Angeles and a brand new Sidekick LX! Voting ends December 3.


SIDEKICK NATION: T-MOBILE SIDEKICK VIDEO CONTEST
To enter the contest, fans across the country can create an original video, no longer than two minutes in length, which exemplifies how their Sidekick serves as their social lifeline. Videos are to be submitted on www.myspace.com/sidekicknation beginning October 2nd and no later than November 12th. On November 21st, the entries judged as finalists will be showcased on the Sidekick Nation MySpace page for community voting which will help determine the final winner who will win the ultimate grand prize: a new Sidekick LX, $10,000 and a trip to Los Angeles to attend a taping of Jimmy Kimmel Live! where highlights of the winning video will be aired.
