During a phone call, you can turn on the speakerphone by selecting the Speakerphone-Sidekick LX - Sidekick button. Alternatively, you can press the right shoulder button once Speakerphone-Sidekick LX - Sidekick. To turn the speakerphone off, press Speakerphone-Sidekick LX - Sidekick again. (Note that in order for the shoulder button shortcut to work, the MENU Speakerphone-Sidekick LX - Sidekick > Settings > Advanced > Shortcuts > Transfer sound to speakerphone = Speakerphone-Sidekick LX - Sidekick check box must be selected.)

must first make this setting: Press MENU Speakerphone-Sidekick LX - Sidekick and select Settings > Advanced. From the Advanced Settings screen, in the Shortcuts group box, select the check box labeled: Transfer sound to speakerphone = Speakerphone-Sidekick LX - Sidekick.

You can also turn the speakerphone on before placing a call. To do this, from the main dialing screen, press MENU Speakerphone-Sidekick LX - Sidekick and select Transfer Sound to > Speaker. Now when you place your call, the phone sound will be through the speaker. Note that if you do not place a call within one minute of transferring the sound to the speaker, the audio will revert to handset.
