During a phone call, you can turn on the speakerphone by selecting the button. Alternatively, you can press the right shoulder button once . To turn the speakerphone off, press again. (Note that in order for the shoulder button shortcut to work, the MENU > Settings > Advanced > Shortcuts > Transfer sound to speakerphone = check box must be selected.)

You can also turn the speakerphone on before placing a call. To do this, from the main dialing screen, press MENU and select Transfer Sound to > Speaker. Now when you place your call, the phone sound will be through the speaker. Note that if you do not place a call within one minute of transferring the sound to the speaker, the audio will revert to handset.
