this happened to me you need to do a soft reset on you phne. press the menu button, @ - button, and the letter L at the sametime. once the G pops up give it some time everything will load up. p.s. save your stuff to you sim and your memory card

okaaay so today the G on my sidekick (nxt to my service bar) wasn't there.. its just two black dots.. and i get full service from tmobile towers at my house always. ive turned off my phone nd left it off for two hrs .. twice. nd it did nothing. i took my battery out. and lost all my information - contacts, pics saved to the device, ringtones, wallpaper.. etc . What should I do, will my stuff come back ?

i have the sidekick slide prepaid. i was wondering if i bought an LX, could i just put the sim card in the LX and it would be the same. Would that work?

I know about the outtage, and i was at work and my slide restarted, deleted everything as usual, then and my username was deleted, i restarted it as factory settings, and i do not know how to add a new username or the same existing one

I HAVE A T-MOBILE ACCT. BUT I AM IN IRAQ RIGHT NOW, I WANT TO USE MY SIDEKICK SLIDE BUT WHEN I PUT IN THE IRAQI SIM CARD, IT SAYS TYPE IN SPECIAL CODE TO ENABLE SIM CARD. DO ANYONE KNOW WHAT THAT SPECIAL CODE IS?

So I bought my sidekick slide form an independant sales agent a week ago. I set up the data plan at a t-mobile store 5 days ago. It still has not connected to the data plan. I have spoken w/ sidekick support and they have reset the phone 3 times and everything on their side is ok. ..... still no data aplan services. So I called again and an agent asked me to find the Network APN settings. So I go to :
Settings - Network Options ..... and from their there should be an option for Network APN, There os none. all I have is gsm and gprs/edge, roaming, network selections, network bands. Is there something wrong withi this phone? Like is a boot leg or something or am I not looking in the right place for the network apn settings? I even brought in back to the store and they guy just called tmobile and reset it... excactly what I have done 3 times, when i asked him to find the apn settings he could not. So now he is telling me to wait 2 days until it goes through, I know for a fact it's not going to. Where can I find the Network APN? **Update** - I just found out this is an unlocked phone. I dont know if this has anything to do w/ it but just FYI.

I purchased a unlocked side kick slide from ebay....i purchased a prepaid sidekick sim from a tmobile store (which is one dollar a day for data, and 15 cents per minut on calls before 7) I inserted it on Saturday, today Is Monday and it still has not fully activated....I cannot use the web, my numbers will not save and everytime i take the battery out I lose EVERYTING that I thought I saved.....will it ever fully activate?

Sometime my sidekick slide will freeze and turn itself off and then back on. When this happens I loose all text messages that are not saved to my sim card. I was wondering if there is any way I can get these lost texts back

Ok i have this game called tyran tyren something like that anyway. in order to load a file you need to dend a code to your email and copy it and to your clipboard then when you open the game you can load your file. Can anyone tell me how to copy text from an email. Do i have to go to desktop interface or can i do it on my phone please answer?

recently, when i recieve a picture message it doesn't download. all i get is the retrieving message screen. and because they are "downloading" i can't send any. also i can't delete them! i have some messages over 3 weeks old now which still havnt come through. i dont know whats wrong with it.

Okay so I woke up this morning to a classic phone shut off (where the screen locks up and dims and your phone wipes). I took out my battery and put it back in, imported my SIM contacts and whatnot. After I went to check my voicemail, I realized my network isnt on. I tried turning the phone on and off, turning network on and off, scanning for networks and taking the sim and battery out again but it did nothing. I know my phone wasn't shut off (wireless was working fine the night before) and I usually have 3-5 bars in my house. After scanning for networks, no other networks appeared as well. Please help

I own a sidekick slide and i would like to make it pre paid but not with the dollar a day thing, just buying those cards that put minutes on your phone. Is their a way I could do that with out going to a tmobile phone store?

okayy. i bouqht the sidekick slide for 80 bucks off my friend ; Its in real qood condition and everythinq ; i know i have to qet a sim card for it - I would be able to qet that at the tmobile place? And also im siqninq up for the flex pay so what kind of sim card to i tell the quy?
