no u dont need internet on your phone to put themes on your sk.
although u will need a computer with internet.

i had the same problem and this is what i did "Go to control panel then hardward sound and go into device manger Then U are going to see your devices I bascially clicked The icon that looks like a Usb Pic And When I plugged the usb into the phone i saw The usb Thing Pop Up wid an X on it So I uninstalled IT and then i unplugged it from the Slide and plugged back in and It reistalled The drivers

Hey I had the same problem and discovered that the memory card reader of the phone was defective. so even though i downloaded everything correctly it was not reading it fron the memory card so TMobile had to give me a new sidekick. If you dont pay a monthly insurance fee the add it on ur account and then ask for a new phone because yours maybe defective.

there's no way to make any ringtonez at all, u gotta buy dem. itz juz like wit boost mobile, they block allowin custom/free ringtonez wit out special software....but idk if it'll work wit sidekickz but basically to answer ur question, no one has found a way to get free/custom ringtonez yet, u juz gotta burn $2.50 for each one u want. but if u kno sum1 dat works for t-mobile or somethin, ask dem to give u a registered sim card, cuz ma friend used to work there and he gave me sim cards all da time, n they got atlease $10 on them, and u can juz put dat sim in and buy all da ringtonez u want n den put ur oringal sim back in and still have all da bought ringtones.......yeah i kno i wrote alot but lol yeah

I made a themes folder, but when I look for it on my sidekick I can't find the theme NOR the pictures that are on my memory card btw...and help???"

Miss P,
You want to save the extracted file to your themes folder. If you don't have a folder marked "themes", make one. Your themes will store to the phone in the same place your stock backgrounds are listed
(Jump > Menu > Backgrounds)
As for seeing your pictures, they should be inside the folder marked "DCIM".

To set a ringtone you purchased as a main ringer:
Jump > Phone > Menu > Settings > General > Incoming Call Ringtone > Imported

To set a ringtone you purchased as a text alert:
Jump > Phone Messaging > Text Messaging > Menu > Settings >
New Message Alert > Imported
