Sidekick LX vs Sidekick Slide

“If you’re a hardcore Sidekick user you’ll want to grab the LX. The keyboard and screen alone make this a win. If you’re a hardcore Sidekick user, the screen on the LX will blow you away, along with keeping all the good stuff of the Sidekick 3 but squeezing it into a sexier body. Question: Why did you choose the the LX over the Slide? The Slide over the LX.

So just for fun. How many of you have the LX? How many of you have the Slide? Which one do you personally think with your opinion is the better sidekick and why did you choose it?

Writer #2: Well I chosed the lx.. before i started with the d.wade sk3 & .. i felt like i had to keep up with the joneses..so i went out and got the lx.. its way cooler than my friends slide. the mood lights makes it a better feayture. aslo picture message, voice reocrder, smaller camera.. the classic swiver bigger bright clearer screen. ease to customer. its just the best ive seen t-mobile to yet. only 1 thing missing is video...and zoom on the camera.. but other than that.... the LX is way better than the slide!

The reason why I choose the Slide over the LX.

(I purchased the sidekick slide the day it was released and i really love the phone. Even though it lacks a bigger screen, it has a more clearer and louder speaker. More built it memory. 128MB compared to the LX 64MB. Much more lighter, looks the price of a 278 dollar phone! i did not understand why the LX front plastic parts was not shined & glossed like Slides but never the less that screen is amazing including the battery life on LX. I bought the Slide because it was a different, it slide up instead of swiveled! I love how t-mobile offered two sidekicks so the customers have an option between this and that phone. [[they should do that more often!]] the Slides battery doesn't last as long as the LX does but as long as it is not as ridiculously short lasting than the sidekick 3, i can bare with it! Besides the specs, i knew everybody around my area would have the LX, so i bought the Slide to be different.) (LX: Talk: 6.8 hr Standby: 96 hr = 4 days) (Slide:Talk: 5.9 hr Standby: 86 hr = 3.6 days) (SK3:Talk: 4.5 hr Standby: 72 hr = 3 days)

Conclusion

Choosing between both phones was kind of difficult because each phone had a good and bad about it. Ranging from specifications of the phone to price. It was about your personal opinion which phone was better to you. Some bought the Slide because its cheaper than the LX but i bought because it unique. Its a new style to the sidekick family. So, which phone did you choose and why?
