first there is no sidekick better then the 2 in my opinion things a beast never broke on me once...and trust me its been thru hell.................but i jus started my pre-paid kicker plan and i got the plan cause i gett free text and all that but my G has still not come so no aim,internet notta.i was wondering y this is if some one could help that would be great

I need help..well i bought from Ebay a Sidekick 2 UNLOCKED!I live in Greece,,i put my VOdafone sim card and for about 7hours or more the mobile is showing me this message "Waiting for Activation,A welcome screen will appear within 48hours after purchase.If it does not,call Customer Care to check your account status.Unitil then,press (..)to place emergency calls".But in the giude it says it takes usually 1-3hours!Not 6 not 7 not 48..
I cant call or see or type messages because of this text but i get calls..i mean its good that peoplecan call me right?what can i do?what if it doesnt open or work?please tell me something to help me!...please send me a message !!!

I would have told my daughter that she absolutely COULD NOT have this stupid-ass phone. Now, I'm stuck with the dumb thing because it can't be unlocked (it can be, but T-Mobile, Danger, Sharp, etc. REFUSES to...) The USB port can't be accessed- (If it could, I could at least reflash the operating system and make something useful out of it) AND I CAN'T EVEN SELL IT!! It's too old to be new, but still too new to be outdated completely... so, I have a constant reminder sitting on my desk keeping my papers tamed of the reason NOT TO PURCHASE A SIDEKICK OF ANY KIND!!! Even the ones that actually have some use.
Whew... ! I feel a little better now! :) btw- I have a SK II for sale- its in good shape and works perfectly, but it's doing me no good. If anyone is interested, please email me at unclefixer@aol.com .
