Saving Photo Attachments to a Photo AlbumThis is a featured page

You can save the following types of email attachments to your device:
  • .jpg
  • .gif
  • .png
  • .bmp

The photos are saved to your Device Album. If the photo was attached to an email as a .gif, .png, or .bmp file, it will be transcoded into a .jpg when saved to the device.

  1. From the Email Browse screen, open an email with a photo attachment.
  2. Scroll down below the message body to view the photo attachment(s).
  3. To save an individual photo to your device's Photo Album, select the Save to Album button below the attachment.
  4. If you have an email with more than one attachment and you want to save them all, press MENU Saving Photo Attachments to a Photo Album - Sidekick and select Save Photos. The Save to Album dialog box appears. All attached photos are selected by default, but you can clear the check boxes of any photo you don't want to save. Select OK Saving Photo Attachments to a Photo Album - Sidekick to save the checked photos.
