Save a Text Message as a Draft-Sidekick LXThis is a featured page


If you are composing a text message on your Sidekick LX and want to save it so you can resume composing or sending at a later time, save your message in the Drafts folder.

Tip: You cannot save a message that has a vCard attached as a draft.

  1. With the message you're composing on the screen, simply press DONESave a Text Message as a Draft-Sidekick LX - Sidekick. (You can also press MENUSave a Text Message as a Draft-Sidekick LX - Sidekick and select Safe as Draft.)

  2. The message is saved to the Drafts folder.

  3. To reopen a draft message, from the Browse Messages screen scroll to highlight the draft message you want to open, then press the TRACKBALL. The message reopens in the Compose screen for editing.

Note: Be sure to Save as Draft after each edit, or you'll lose your edits. To discard your edits, pressSave a Text Message as a Draft-Sidekick LX - SidekickSave a Text Message as a Draft-Sidekick LX - Sidekick.
