Note! Always handle your SIM card carefully since the card and gold contacts can be easily damaged by scratches or bends. Be sure to keep SIM cards out of reach of small children and puppies. To insert or replace a SIM card, do the following:

1. Power down your device. Then remove the back cover and the battery from your device .
2. With the back cover and battery removed, you can see the SIM card slot. It is shaped just like a SIM card and is located just to the left of center.
3. If there is a SIM card already in the slot, move the card up slightly by inserting your nail or paper clip into the notch in the case next to the card. Then gently slide the card out, free of the two brackets.
4. Insert a SIM card by sliding the card into the slot with the gold contacts facing down. Make sure the lower end of the card rests against the device case and the two side brackets are on top of the card.
   
5. Replace the battery and back cover
6. Once the battery makes contact, the power-on sequence begins.
