Hello everyone, I have a question about how to transfer a made-clip of a song to a ringtone
from my computer and send it to my sidekick 08. I have a FlexPay account and Transcend Micro 1GB memory
card (thats the correct one right?) I was wondering how I can do it. Some of the methods I
tried would'nt let me do it unless there was something wrong, and was wondering if I can
fix that or if there is any otherway to. Some ways that I tried were:

1. I tried sending the clip from my computer to my email, but the downloading attachment
wasn't clickable so I couldn't do it, anyway how I can or something?

2. I uploaded the clip ringtone to a WAP site and couldn't get it as well, is there a way
to?

Any help is appreciated, I really wanted to get my made music clipped as a ringtone
on my phone

We are being forced into buying tmobile ringtones are rediculously overpriced and limited. You cant transfer ringtones from ther phones with bluetooth, you cant set the mp3 music as ringtones. What do u have to do to get some cool ringtones like everyone else.

We are currently working on a ringtone generator so LX09 users can upload a song and crop 1-10 sec long and we will covert it to the right format so you then can email the song to the sidekick to save as a ringtone. How awsome is that.

Is there a website that will let me preview the songs in the download catalog? Sometimes while I am trying to preview songs it either takes too long or doesn't load and it is just annoying. I am sure regular non sidekick users have a ringtone webpage or something right?

Two steps you will need to do to work magic. Download one theme to your phone. Make sure it includes hinge open close music. If you want to add your favorite jpeg to your theme you must convert it to a png. The software is free. Once the pic is converted, name it and move it into the theme folder that you have already downloaded. To add hinge music from your favorite mp3, you must do two things: convert your mp3 to a wav and edit about 2 seconds of your song with dinowave software. Both softwares are free to download. Add your 2 sec wav to the same theme folder you added your png. You should see them side by side in the same folder with your downloaded theme's images and music.

Last part, open your notepad. Very short and easy progranming language (english) so the rest is simple. Just sub the name of your wav with the wav of the downloaded theme and sub the name of your png with the png that is there and wella your pic will be your new background and your favorite musical excerpt will be played when you open and close your hinge
