View Your Playlists
To view your playlists, press MENU and select View > Playlists [ 9]. Your playlists display in the order created, most recent at the top. +

Create a Playlist

1. From the Browse Music screen, navigate to a song, artist, album, genre, or composer you want in a playlist.
   
   
2. With the song, artist, album, genre, or composer highlighted, press MENU and select Add to Playlist > New Playlist [ N].
   
   
3. Give your new playlist a name in the dialog box that opens.
   
   
4. Select Create to save the playlist. There may be a slight delay while the playlist is saved.
   
   

Now your newly-created playlist will be included in the Playlists category on the Browse Music screen.

Rename a Playlist
Once you create a playlist, you can change its name:

1. Go to your list of playlists by pressing MENU 9.
   
   
2. Rename your playlist by pressing MENU and selecting Edit > Rename Playlist [ E].
   
   
3. The Rename Playlist dialog box opens. Type the New Name in the text field.
   
   
4. Select Rename .
   

Move a Song in a Playlist

1. Go to your list of playlists by pressing MENU 9.
   
   
2. Select the playlist to view the list of songs.
   
   
3. Highlight the song you want to move. Press MENU and select Move Song [ M].
   
   
4. Roll the TRACKBALL to position the song in the list.
   
   
5. Press the TRACKBALL to save its location in the playlist.

Remove Songs from a Playlist

1. Go to your list of playlists by pressing MENU 9.
   
   
2. Highlight the playlist that contains the song(s) you want to remove, then press the TRACKBALL.
   
   
3. Highlight the song(s) you want to remove.
   
   
4. Press MENU and select Remove from Playlist [ ].
   
   
5. The song is removed from the list.
   

Add Songs to a Playlist

1. Navigate to a view with a song, artist, album, genre, or composer that you want to add to a playlist.
   
   
2. Select the item (or items) you want to add.
   
   
3. Press MENU and select Add ... to Playlist.
   
   
4. Select an option (an existing playlist or create a new one) from the submenu.

Discard a Playlist

1. Go to your list of playlists by pressing MENU 9.
   
   
2. Highlight the playlist you want to discard from the list.
   
   
3. Press MENU and select Edit > Discard Playlist [ ]. A confirmation dialog appears; select Discard to permanently remove the playlist; select Back to keep the playlist afterall.
