I just bought a sidekick 3 off of eBay and it doesn't have myFaves.
How can I get the software to get this on my sidekick???

i had a sidekick since the sidekick 1 was out. im telling you its worth the money and you can do alot of stuff on it

i haven't gotten my update yet. your phone should auto update rather you're on the smart access plan. right?

I just love my sidekick3. New user with this phone. Still learning, I just bought some skin, I am learning how to dowload background ect.. so, if anyone has an easier way, let me know :O)

I think my favorite part of it all is that it goes into sleep mode faster. so that will save the battery more

Got the update, but myFaves only works for normal plans I gather, Don't really need it anyway. The other new features are cool.

I signed up with TMobile 2 weeks ago with a 2 year My Faves plan contract. I just traded in my free phone I recieved with the plan for my Sidekick 3 yesterday. It activated today, and I set up registration including the OTA 3.1 update. However the Sidekick I have doesn't have the MyFaves iconprogrammed into it even though I have the My Faves contract.
Will the OTA version 3.4 be sent to my phone automatically? Or are there requirements that are needed on the phone to get the update? My TMobile plan consists of the following:
My Faves 600 min plan
Sidekick Unlimited (includes unlimited email, AOL Instant Messenger Service, Web browsing, and text messaging)
Please someone let me know if this is acceptable in order to receive the OTA 3.4 update.

Ironically it seemed like my SK3 seemed to sense my questionins and updated around 30 min ago, I now have the OTA 3.4 update on my phone. The MyFaves is also visible on the menu screen as well as in the address book. I think that now that OTA 3.4 is installed, the other features that come with it install themselves automatically within 5-10 min.

i dont have myFaves no need for it... booo well the active address book is pretty nice if you actually ever took the time and put a contacts phone number, SN, email address, and all that other shit who does that!!

it just pops out in the screen saying that ur sidekick3 is ready for update.. and u shud click update now..

Currently My Sk3, which I just bought two days ago, is running on 3.1v Release. Cannot wait for My Fave Five & the Active Address Book! Awesomeness!!!!!
I will report back once I get bumped with the OTA Updeate Notification.

Yup! Thats right...The OTA is send over T-Mobile's EDGE/GPRS the data network. So, if you dont have the Sidekick Data plan you will not get the update.
