My Web Brower doesnt want to open any page it always says connection drop and Web Browser Service has closed the connection,, i called and they said they fixed it that it was a privacy lock but it still not working..it has always said the same thing..how can i fix this..i have never used the browser bcuz of this..

I had no idea what category to put this in, so here goes:
I live in Canada and have a Sidekick LX running on Rogers. Since I only use my phone for texting, I love the LX for it's huge, easy-to-use keyboard, even though I can't use the internet on it (I have my iPod touch on me all the time, so I use that for internet.) The only thing really bugging me is not being able to download ringtones and games from the download catalog. So, I was wondering if it would be possible to buy a T-Mobile SIM Card (from eBay, etc) and use their website to activate a prepaid account with an address in the US. Then I can just pop in the T-Mo SIM card to solely download things from the catalog. Would this be possible? I know there would be roaming charges, but they wouldn't be too expensive if I ONLY use the SIM card to download ringtones/games once in a while... would they? And my final concern is that if I power down the device and turn it back on while I'm using the Rogers SIM card, will I lose my downloads since my phone will be unable to connect to T-Mo servers? Thanks a lot in advance, I hope this made sense!

ok so im thinking of getting a sidekick lx but all i have in my town is t-mobile 850mhz roaming will iget kicked off if i use the sidekick on prepaid?

My stupid township (Upper Providence, Delaware Co. Pa.) voted "No!" to tmo's request to put a cell tower on the grounds of a local technical school because of complaints from neighbors claiming it will lower their property values, destroy the environment, and the radiation will cause their kids to grow an extra head or extra fingers. I am so angry and frustrated because I really want a Sidekick when my contract with VZW is finally up in August but with the poor tmo coverage here I am afraid to get one because it might not be reliable when I need it. I might get it and also get an ATT or Virgin Mobile prepaid phone as a back up in case my 85 year-old mother needs to get a hold of me. I am an only child and her sole caregiver. I hate this town and the people in it but I can't move because my Mom refuses to move. The only thing that gets me through the days is knowing that I'm not doomed to live out the rest of my life here; someday I will be able to move to someplace cool/fun/exciting like Las Vegas. Anyone else have the poor coverage problem? Sorry for the rant! I love this site and I soooooo want a Sidekick!

My sidekick is going insane. i recently moved to NY from CA, and my connection is out of wack. but thats not my problem. my battery died, and when i charged it, my sidekick is now asking me to Sign In to use its features. I have no idea what my sign on info is..!! where do i find it???

okay, i have t-mobile.. but i was thinking about switching from the current phone i have now, to a sidekick3.
my friend has one that she was gonna get rid of anyways because shes gettin a new one.. would i be able to just take hers and put my sim in it, instead of having to go out and buy one?

Its been 6 months and I still cant receive any phone calls when I'm on AIM, I've called T-Mobile and all they've said was that they're working on it, while some people dont have that problem, they tell me there have been several thousand calls about the problem as well and they've been hard at work on it, its been 6 months and still no change, I don't see how hard they're working on it
