Menu Button Menu Button -Sidekick iD - Sidekick

The MENU Menu Button -Sidekick iD - Sidekick button is located in the upper-left corner of the device and is marked by horizontal lines Menu Button -Sidekick iD - Sidekick . Use the MENU Menu Button -Sidekick iD - Sidekick button to do the following:
  • Press MENU Menu Button -Sidekick iD - Sidekick once to open a drop-down menu listing actions you can take from the current screen.

    Some menu items have submenus. These items are marked with an right-pointing arrow Menu Button -Sidekick iD - Sidekick (as shown for the Sort and Settings menu items in the illustration above). To open a submenu, highlight the top-level menu item you want to expand, then press or roll the TRACKBALL right. The submenu pops open.

    To select a submenu item, highlight it and press the TRACKBALL. To dismiss the submenu without selecting an item, press DONE Menu Button -Sidekick iD - Sidekick . Press DONE Menu Button -Sidekick iD - Sidekick again to close the top-level menu.
  • To jump to the last item in a menu, with the menu open, press and hold the ALT key while rolling the TRACKBALL one click down; to jump to the top item, roll one click up.
  • To scroll screen-by-screen on any screen where scrolling is possible, press and hold MENU Menu Button -Sidekick iD - Sidekick while rolling the TRACKBALL.
  • Press MENU Menu Button -Sidekick iD - Sidekick in combination with a shortcut key to perform an action. You find the shortcuts listed in the menus to the right of a given option: Menu Button -Sidekick iD - Sidekick .
Some Information About the Menus The options that appear in any given menu depend on which application screen you are viewing and what you have highlighted on the screen. For example, if you are viewing the Browse Messages screen of the Email application with a folder highlighted, the menu will include a "Discard Messages" option. However, if you are viewing the same screen with a message highlighted, the menu will offer options like "Reply", "Add to Address Book". The items that appear depend on your current context.
