If you do not want to receive messages from an individual, you can "ignore" messages from them by doing the following:

1. From the Friends List screen, press MENU then select Settings. The Settings screen appears.
   
   
2. Scroll down to the bottom of the screen to the Ignore group box.
   
   
3. To ignore a user, select the Add button. The Add to Ignore List dialog box opens. Type the Yahoo! ID of the person whose messages you want to ignore, then select OK .
   
   
4. If the person you want to ignore is on your Friends List, you will be prompted to remove them.
   
   
5. To remove a Yahoo! ID from your Ignore List, scroll to highlight the Yahoo! ID, then press the TRACKBALL to select it, or press the DEL key. The Ignored User dialog box opens.
   
   
6. The Do Not Ignore button is selected by default. Press the TRACKBALL to select it. To cancel your action and keep your friend on the Ignore List, select the CANCEL button.
