Anonymous water damage on sidekick 3's... 1 Feb 23 2007, 8:49 AM EST by Anonymous

if you still have your phone, look at a couple things, because there is no lying or making up water damage with the sidekick 3 as opposed to the 2 and previous models which is good news for both ends as far as im concerned, both for tmobile and the user. if you flip the screen halfway (yes partially) and lift up the screen so u can see underneathe it, you'll find a water mark indication dot to the left of the rotating swivel joint. If it is any color other than white, then you got it wet. Also, another place to check is taking out the battery, and on the bottom side of the battery on the side of it, you'll see another water indication mark, and if its any color other than white, then you got it wet. If its white still, then there is no contest or question, and they cannot mess with you whatsoever, but if it is then you have no argument at all, plain and simple. Water damage doesn't have to come from you dropping it in the ocean, it can be from rain, moisture, being in the bathroom with you and then taking a shower and the steam gets in it, anything. Its and ELECTRONIC DEVICE, and it'll act accordingly. It's not a conspiracy, its fact.

sent phone back to t-mobile the phone was still under warranty, phone was returned back, claiming it had water damage. My cell # 914-439-4192. I feel I wasn't treated fair. Please contact me @212-769-7046. I am now closing my account as soon as my contract expires, if I don't here from anyone @ t-mobile. My phone was not water damage. It never got wet.

Yours truly,
Madeline Madrid
