Headset Jack

Insert your headset in the jack located on the lower-right edge of the device.

Be sure to press the headset lead in firmly to secure the connection. Caution! If you think you'll be using the phone while driving, insert the headset before starting the drive. Also, be sure to insert the headset completely into the jack; partially inserted headsets sometimes cause a squealing sound during a call.
USB Port
The USB port is located on the right side of your device, below the power jack. If your device should ever need recovery software installed (this would have been diagnosed by Customer Care), you would need to connect your device to your desktop or laptop computer using a USB Mini-B type cable. The port is protected by a small rubber cover. Remove the cover completely to expose the port before you insert the cable.
