Import Events ManuallyThis is a featured page

If you want to import events from an application not listed in the Import Events page, you can create an import file yourself. You must prepare a tab- or comma-delimited text (ASCII) file using the exact header names shown below.

The first line of the file defines the column headings, so type your headers in line 1. Line 1 must begin with the nine headers listed under "Required Headers", in the exact order shown. If you wish, you may also include one or more of the headers listed under "Optional Headers". These optional headers may appear in any order. The actual data must follow, one line for each row.

Required Headers (in order):

  • Subject
  • Start Date
  • Start Time
  • End Date
  • End Time
  • All Day Event
  • Reminder on/off
  • Reminder Date
  • Reminder Time

Optional Headers:

  • Location
  • Description
  • Meeting Organizer
  • Required Attendees
  • Optional Attendees
  • Meeting Resources
  • Billing Information
  • Mileage

When you import:

  • Select the option labeled Microsoft Outlook for PC (.txt file).
  • Set your Desktop Interface language preference to English (US or United Kingdom).
